Blended Learning is described in the attached graphic as “disruptive innovation” in education–which transforms the classroom from a 20th Century assembly line to a 21st Century learning center. Building on ideas that aren’t old, most blended learning incorporates all the good things good teachers are already doing. In the Blended Learning Matrix portion, a description of exactly what is and isn’t considered blended learning is posted. Further into the article, examples of blended learning programs are described, including Michigan’s own Virtual University. Take a look below. I found this one to be very interesting!
